This photo was a shot in the dark quite literally, as we waited in the creek for hours for a Spirit Bear to hopefully show up, the early morning light was exceptionally poor, overcast and gloomy. On the other side of the creek pushing through the undergrowth towards us, the kiss of light worked perfectly as a black bear emerged to come feed on the salmon. Black bear on black.
